Sprint/Relay Coach
Coach Jackie was born in Oklahoma City and spent her youth between Oklahoma City and Nigeria. As a child, she played many sports but enjoyed track and soccer the most. She excelled as a sprinter at Irving High School, competing in the 100, 200, 400, and running the 4x100 and 4x200 relays.
Background & Coaching Philosophy
While attending The University of Oklahoma, Coach Jackie coached youth sports at the Cleveland County YMCA. She completed her B.S. in Elementary Education and later attended graduate school at The University of Texas in Arlington, continuing her involvement in youth athletics, including competitive cheer coaching.
After graduate school, she moved to Georgia for work and volunteered with Savannah Youth Sports League.
Today, Coach Jackie is married to Vincent Wilson and they have a daughter, Simone, who has been with KT Express since January 2020. She began as a volunteer, coaching from the bleachers, but soon stepped into a more active coaching role. She is excited to help young athletes strengthen their track skills while building confidence and social development.
