What a way to start the 2020 Outdoor Season!!! Would you have ever thought the World will come to a stop due to a virus. It seems like this is a movie.
First, we would like to thank you all for adhering to the local government advice. I know this has been difficult to our avid track fans, however, adhering to the advice of both local government and CDC (Center for Disease Control) will not only be helpful to the athletes, but protects you as well. We are asking clubs not to practice as a team. We are also asking you continue to wash your hands, practice social distancing, and meeting in a group of 10 or less. Take this time to enjoy family and rest.
As stated on our Facebook page (USATF Gulf Association), the March and April Developmental Meets have been canceled. The meets were canceled in order to follow the compliance of USATF. Currently, we are adjusting our schedule and our first meet is tentatively scheduled for May 2 (Mainland Jaguars). We will have added a DevelopmentalMeet, May 30. More details will be available once we receive additional information.
